VISION supports the bike lanes and continued greening of the city. They have action plans and agree that spending city money on support for the homeless is a good idea in the long-term both economically and socially... AND they support Vancouver's ARTISTS, acknowledging the vital contribution that the ARTs brings to society, usually at great cost to the artists themselves. (How many artists do you know that own a home, and have pension plans and RRSP's...) That's what I call VISION!
In contrast to this, Vision's main competitor is Suzanne Anton who has loudly proclaimed that if she is voted in she will immediately dismantle all the bike lanes, is against city money being spent on social housing projects and wants the police to immediately disperse the Occupy Vancouver protest. She is trying to use that issue to make Gregor look bad.
